Abstract

This study was to determine the effect of family education on student achievement at MTs Hasanussholihat Tangerang. Data was obtained by using observation, documentation, and distributing questionnaires. The subjects of this study were students at MTs Hasanussholihat Pakulonan Barat, Tangerang Regency. Which amounted to 140 people. Random sampling technique was used to collect the research sample. The Pearson Product Moment correlation technique and the Cronbach's Alpha reliability test using SPSS 22 were used to determine the validity of the data. Pearson Product Moment correlation techniques and simple linear regression were used for data analysis. The results showed that family education had a positive effect on student achievement at MTs Hasanussholihat Tangerang. This can be seen by obtaining a tcount value of 16.038. If the ttable value is 2.042 and the significance level is <0.05, then the ttable with α = 5% is 16.038 > 2.042. This means that the ratio of variable X (family education) to variable Y (learning achievement) is 20.7%, the difference is 79.3% which was not observed in this study.
