Abstract

The task of improving leadership and work environment can help teachers improve their teaching performance. The purpose of this research is to: (a) assess the principal's leadership, work environment, and teacher performance; and (b) assess the impact of the principal's leadership and work environment on teacher performance. Performance is quite influenced by the findings of SMPIT foundation leader Syukriyyah Ash which include aspects of personality, decision-making ability, communication skills, delegation of authority, and motivation. The conditions of work relations in schools do not have much influence on teacher performance. Changes in work relations in schools do not have a real impact on teacher performance. Teachers in this category do their job well in teaching. Even though school leadership has a positive impact on teacher performance, this is not enough to inspire teachers to work well. The impact of the work environment on teacher performance is still lacking and has the potential to improve teacher performance. School leadership and work atmosphere have a very good influence on teacher performance.
