About the Journal

ISTIGHNA Journal of Islamic Education and Thought  ISSN 1979-2824 (Print) and ISSN 2655-8459 (Online) is a journal published twice a year by Universitas Cendekia Abditama. This journal emphasizes aspects related to Islamic Education and Thought, with special reference to applied research in Islamic education that can be focused on the components of learning including curriculum, methods, models, psychology, Islamic thought, and several issues of Islamic education and its problems.

The Journal is published twice a year in January and July. Articles from the author are submitted at least 1 month before the date of publication (1st) and will be reviewed within approximately 1 week, the results of the articles reviewed are received a maximum of one week before publication and articles will be published at the beginning of January and July.

Journal History

Istighna: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pemikiran Islam dimulai dengan menerbitkan edisi cetak pada tahun 2011 oleh Penerbit STIT Islamic Village Tangerang. Sejak Terbitan tahun 2018 publikasi Istighna: Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pemikiran Islam diperluas dengan publikasi online melalui Open Journal System agar hasil publikasi dapat diakses lebih luas untuk tujuan pengembangan dan penyebarluasan Ilmu Pengetahuan dengan dimulai dari Vol. 1, No 2 edisi Januari tahun 2018.
Pada tahun 2022 STIT Islamic Village Tangerang sebagai Lembaga Penerbit Jurnal telah bergabung dengan Universitas Cendekia Abditama secara Institusi dan kemudian seluruh jurnalnya menjadi beralih penerbit Menjadi Universitas Cendekia Abditama.
Sehingga laman Jurnal berubah dari http://e-journal.stit-islamic-village.ac.id/index.php/istighna menjadi https://ejournal.uca.ac.id/index.php/istighna mulai terbitan Vol 6 Nomor 1 tahun 2023.
