Abstract

Education plays a strategic role in shaping high-quality human resources (HR) capable of facing technological advancements. Teachers hold a key role in improving the quality of education through pedagogical, social, personal, and professional competencies. However, the low quality of teachers often becomes the main challenge in achieving educational goals. The management of teacher professional development is crucial, particularly at SDIT Safinatunnajah Serang, which implements the concept of integrated Islamic education. This research focuses on the importance of effective management in developing teacher professionalism as an effort to improve the quality of education at the school. It discusses the planning, actualization, and impact of teacher professional development at SDIT Safinatunnajah Serang. Teacher professional development includes pedagogical, personal, social, and professional competencies, which are essential for enhancing the quality of education. SDIT Safinatunnajah is committed to developing teachers' abilities through various programs such as training, routine evaluations, comparative studies, and the integration of curriculum with Islamic values. The research findings show that the implementation of teacher professional development programs at the school positively impacts teacher performance and student motivation. These programs also encourage teachers to adapt to technological and societal advancements, ultimately improving the quality of teaching and student achievement. Regular evaluations and continuous development are key to maintaining the effectiveness of these programs. This study emphasizes the importance of consistency in the implementation of teacher professional development as an effort to create high-quality education.
