PENGARUH KOMPETENSI KEPRIBADIAN GURU PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM TERHADAP PEMBINAAN AKHLAK PESERTA DIDIK DI SMK NEGERI 1 KOTA GORONTALO

Teacher personality competence is a personal ability that reflects a good personality and role model for students. Therefore, the teacher's personality competence is also of course an important basis for carrying out duties professionally in fostering students' morals. This study aims to determine the influence of the personality competence of Islamic religious education teachers on the moral development of students at SMK Negeri 1 Gorontalo City. This study uses the type and approach of quantitative research. Class XI is the population and 88 students are the research sample. The location of the research took place at SMK Negeri 1 Gorontalo City. This study uses two variables, namely variable X (personality competence of PAI teachers) and variable Y (moral development of students) using research instruments in the form of questionnaires and documentation, and using simple linear regression data analysis techniques. The results of this study show that: (1) The personality competence of Islamic Religious Education teachers is included in the very good category with a presentation rate of 92.2%. (2) Moral development of students is included in the good category with a presentation rate of 84.6%. (3) There is a significant influence between the personality competence of Islamic Religious Education teachers on the moral development of students at SMK Negeri 1 Gorontalo City.
