STRATEGI PENDIDIKAN SEKS TERHADAP PENGEMBANGAN KEMANDIRIAN ANAK USIA DINI

The purpose of this study was to determine early childhood sex education strategies in developing independence at Bina Pertiwi Kindergarten. This study was a qualitative study using a field research design. The subjects were young children at Bina Pertiwi Kindergarten. Data sources came from teachers, students, and parents. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of sex education appropriate to children's developmental stages can encourage increased self-confidence, decision-making skills, and awareness of self-protection. Children who receive sex education from an early age also appear more independent in their behavior and have the courage to express any discomfort they experience. Thus, it can be concluded that sex education delivered in a structured and communicative manner in the PAUD environment plays an important role in supporting the process of developing independence in early childhood.
