Abstract

The purpose of this study was to 1) determine student learning discipline at MTs Daar El Huda Curug Tangerang in the subject of Islamic cultural history, 2) determine student achievement at MTs Daar El Huda Curug Tangerang in the subject of Islamic cultural history, and 3) determine the influence of learning discipline students on student achievement at MTs Daar El Huda Curug Tangerang in the subject of Islamic cultural history. This study used a quantitative approach to measure the impact of student learning discipline (Variable X) on student achievement (Variable Y) at MTs Daar El Huda Curug Tangerang. The method used in this research was correlational research, namely research designed to select the level of correlation of variables. The research subjects were students of class VIII MTs Daar El Huda Curug Tangerang, totaling 110 students. Sources of data come from teachers and students. Data collection techniques by observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The validity of the data using the product moment correlation assisted by the SPSS 21 application, the reliability of the data was carried out using cornbach alpha assisted by the SPSS 21 application. The data analysis used descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that there was a significant influence between student learning disciplines on student achievement in the subjects of Islamic Cultural History at MTs Daar El Huda Curug Tangerang. This was evidenced by the t-count value of 1.985 with a constant (a) value of 33,412 and a regression coefficient value of 0.791. The influence of student learning discipline on student achievement in the subject of Islamic Cultural History was 13.6% which can be seen from the value of R Square = 0.136 which states that there are 86.4% of other factors that can affect student achievement.
