PERSEPSI DAN SIKAP MASYARAKAT PESANTREN TERHADAP BANK SYARIAH

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate how the Islamic boarding school community perceives the existence of Islamic banks and to determine the Islamic boarding school community's viewpoint toward Islamic banks through a case study at the Al-Asmaniyah Islamic Boarding School in Tangerang. This study employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. The informants for this study were chosen using a purposive sampling technique. The findings of this study indicate that the Islamic boarding school community's perceptions and attitudes toward Sharia banks are positive, with the Islamic boarding school community, which includes teaching staff, educational administration staff, and students, tending to agree with the existence of Islamic banks, particularly in Islamic boarding schools. Even though the Islamic boarding school community seems to have favorable perceptions and attitudes toward Islamic banks, this does not guarantee that they will use their services, which are influenced by a variety of factors such as family factors, educational factors, employment factors, and so on.
