Abstract

This study aims to find out the factors that influence the interest of insurance participants in takaful products of education funds in PT.  Asuransi Takaful Keluarga Representative Office Tangerang Banten. The variables used in this study were income (X1), brand image (X2), number of children (X3), premium (X4) and claims (X5). Respondents participated in this study were determined using purposive sampling techniques. This study was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 96 respondents who were participants of Takaful Dana Pendidikan product users in 2019. The methods used in this study is descriptive quantitative, with statistical testing used is a multiple linear regression method consisting of dependent variables namely the interest of insurance participants in Takaful Dana Pendidikan products and independent variables namely income (X1), brand image (X2), number of children (X3), premium (X4) and claims (X5). Multiple linear regression models are used to test the influence of five independent variables with dependent variables, either partially or simultaneously. The results of this study show that the income factor (X1), brand image (X2), number of children (X3), premium (X4) and claims (X5) partially had a positive and significant effect on the participant's interest variable (Y), while simultaneously the income (X1), brand image (X2), number of children (X3), premium (X4) and claims (X5) had a significant effect of 51.1% on the interest of insurance participants in Takaful Dana Pendidikan products.
